Developmental milestones are behaviors or physical skills seen in infants and children as they grow and develop. Rolling over, crawling, walking, and talking are all considered milestones. Children reach these milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act, and move. Developmental milestones are things most children can do by a certain age. It is essential that as a parent you monitor the milestones described below:
We can divide milestones in four main areas of development; “Physical Development”, “Cognitive Development”, “Social and Emotional Development” and “Communication”.
Milestones are different for each age range.
Here are some important milestones for 2 year-olds.

- Our Preschool Morning Enrichment program is designed to help children work on their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. - Our Preschool Gymnastics Program focuses mainly on physical development and fine-and-gross motor skills; however, this program also incorporates cognitive and social skills. Our gymnastics classes will help kids physically develop stronger muscles, improve body coordination, learn body awareness, and more!
