Why do we have showcases?

The idea behind our shows is for our students to share with parents and family what they are learning when they come to Gravity. In every class, your child grows, learns, and builds self-esteem & confidence! It is only fair that we celebrate and praise our students' efforts and growth with family and friends!

Obstacle Course Competition

Save the Date:  Saturday, April 12th

Join us for our exciting Spring Ninja Competition! Open to all ages and skill levels, participants will be grouped based on their abilities, ensuring a fun and challenging experience for everyone. Every child will have the chance to tackle a thrilling obstacle course and showcase their ninja skills!

Session Times

The Ninja Competition will include two different session times. Please check your child's class level to determine the appropriate session time. Doors open 15 minutes before the start of the show.

Session 1- 5:00PM

Lil Ninjas

White Ninjas

Yellow Ninjas (Ages 5-7)

Session 2- 7:00PM

Yellow Ninjas (Ages 8 & Up)

Green Ninjas

Blue Ninjas

Each competition will start with introducing the competitors and quickly explaining the obstacles.



After that, your ninja will show off their skills in an obstacle course setup. At the end of the challenge, to recognize their hard work, they will receive a medal in an awards ceremony.

We ask that your child wear a specific uniform to the event.



  • Ninja Outfit- please wear your ninja shirt uniform and black shorts.

There are a limited number of tickets for sale! Act now and save your space!  Children ages 3 and older will need a spectator ticket. Additional tickets will NOT be available on the day of the event.

Obstacle Course Skills

The Obstacle Course Competition will consist of two obstacle courses. Why do we compete in obstacle course style? There are many different reasons! Obstacle courses are set up in an engaging format that encourages creative and strategic thinking. Obstacle courses allow for children of varying skills and abilities to be included and feel comfortable performing.


Competition Obstacle Courses: Our 2 obstacle courses will have different arrangements of mats and equipment where your ninja will perform their skills. Your ninja gets to choose the sets of mats they would like to use and decide the course to follow on their own. The obstacle courses are timed and judged based on performance and skill level.

Your Guide to Understanding Our Showcases

Frequently Asked Questions at Gravity Gymnastics

  • How long are the sessions?

    Each session is scheduled to be one and a half hour in length. We'll open our doors 15 minutes before show begins. At the end of your session, you will have time to take pictures with our photo backdrops. 

  • What should my child wear?

    Your athlete should come dressed in a competitive uniform. Gymnasts must wear a leotard, hair tied up, and no jewelry. 


    We have Gravity leotards available in our pro-shop! To  purchase it online, visit our parent portal at: "Gravity Pro-Shop"

  • How much experience does my child need?

    Unsure if your child is ready for the competition because of being new to the class or lacking a certain skill?


    No need to worry! The idea behind this competition is for our students to share with parents and family what they are learning during class.   • Can I take photos?

    Absolutely!  Your are welcomed to take photos with no flash during the show. For safety reasons we kindly ask that you stay in the seating area during the show. 


    There will be time at the end of the show to take photos on the floor and in the designated photo "booth" area. Get those cameras and catch your gymnast in action!
