Turtles are coming out of their shells! 

The Turtle classes are for children who are ready to explore using their developing mobility. Our curriculum is designed to enhance direct connection between active movement and brain processing. Our Turtle's brains are processing important functions as they engage in enriching physical activities that promote neural development such as stepping, rolling, hanging, swinging, sliding, and climbing. In addition, these classes are a great bonding experience for the parent and child as well as a wonderful opportunity to enhance social interaction with children their own age.

Rabbits are hopping right along!

The Rabbit classes are designed to make the most of your child’s rapidly growing physical, cognitive, and language development. Rabbits begin to recognize colors through materials and activities in class; begin to recite numbers through counting or listening while performing physical motions; and increase language development through physical activities promoting word association. Our curriculum is designed to provide a multi-sensory educational gymnastics experience! With their parents' help, rabbit students practice taking turns, sharing, listening, and following directions. Our Rabbit students will improve gross motor skills such as running, skipping, swinging, balancing, and rolling. The goal of a rabbit class is to encourage healthy independence, develop physical & cognitive abilities, and build a great deal of confidence!

• Preschool Beginner Level
• Duration: 45 minutes

Elephants are taking a big step! 

The Elephants classes have preschoolers working in a group setting without parents for the first time. These classes are set up through fun obstacle courses as well as special activities created to improve fine and gross motor abilities. Your child will have an opportunity to learn shapes, colors, numbers, and letters as they engage in movement and develop physical abilities. Each class follows a lesson plan created to provide an enjoyable learning experience while nurturing their growing independence and development.

• Preschool Intermediate level (by invitation only)
• Duration: 55 minutes

Zebras are moving fast!  

The Zebra classes are for children who have mastered the previous Elephant skills and concepts. They begin working on technical corrections as well as additional skills that are more challenging.  These classes are set up through fun obstacle courses while also introducing independent working stations. Each class follows a lesson plan created to develop physical strength, body awareness, coordination, and flexibility.

• Preschool Beginner Level
• Duration: 55 minutes

Lions are on the hunt! 

The Lion classes are for children who have achieved independence and are ready for a faster-paced environment. Lion students are introduced to gymnastics skill basics from all four Olympic events (Floor, Balance Beam, Bars, and Vault). These classes are set up through fun obstacle courses while also introducing independent working stations. Each class follows a lesson plan created to develop physical strength, body awareness, coordination, and flexibility.

• Preschool Intermediate Level
• Duration: 55 minutes

Monkeys are swinging onto the next branch! 

The Monkey class builds upon previously learned lion gymnastics skills and concepts while advancing to additional skills that are more challenging. These students have gained listening skills which allows more opportunities to learn! They will be introduced to the big gym and larger equipment. Monkey students should be capable of navigating circuits and working independently on stations. The class follows a lesson plan created to refine technique while continuing to build physical strength, coordination, and flexibility.

• Advanced level (by invitation only)
• Duration: 70 minutes (2 days a week required)

Grasshoppers are preparing to take a huge jump! 

The Grasshopper class requires a mastery of the skills taught in the previous levels. Grasshopper students will be introduced to more challenging skills while continuing to build their strength and flexibility. The goal of this class is to prepare gymnasts for a future in our developmental team program and eventually competitive gymnastics.  The grasshopper class follows a lesson plan created by our Preschool Leader and Developmental Team head coach.
