Why do we do showcases?

The idea behind our shows is for our students to share with parents and family what they are learning when they come to Gravity. In every class, your child grows, learns, and builds self-esteem & confidence! It is only fair that we celebrate and praise our students' efforts and growth with family and friends!

Surf's Up Showcase

Save the Date:  Saturday, April 12th

 Surf's up at Gravity Gymnastics! Get ready for a wave of fun at our beach-themed Preschool Gymnastics Showcase! Join us for an enchanting 60-minute performance filled with adorable moments as your little one balances, swings, and tumbles through a series of exciting gymnastics stations.

The showcase will celebrate your child's hard work and enthusiasm, culminating in a spectacular finale and a special medal ceremony to honor their achievements. It's the perfect opportunity to see your child's gymnastics progress and enjoy their charming performance.

Don't forget to bring your cameras to capture every precious moment of this unique celebration where sunny summer vibes meet the excitement of gymnastics. We can't wait to share this memorable experience with you and cheer on our young gymnasts together!

Session Times

The Preschool Surf's Up Showcase will include three session times, assigned by class levels. Please check your child's class level to determine the appropriate session time. Our Lion students have the option of two session times. Doors open 15 minutes before the start of the show.

Elephant Students

Session 1:  10:00AM

Zebra & Lion Students

Session 2:  12:00PM

Monkey & Lion Students

Session 3:  2:30PM

Breakdown

Each show starts with a dance and a short warm-up. 

After that, your little gymnast will show off their skills and routines on the gymnastics events.


At the end of the show, they will receive a medal and a goody bag surprise to recognize their hard work!

Uniform



  • We kindly ask that your child wear a specific uniform for the show.

  • Or any blue leotard

Pre-purchased Only

  • Additional spectator tickets are available for purchase online at - Gravity Pro-shop.
    Cost: $9.00

  • There are a limited number of tickets for sale! Act now and save your space!  Children ages 3 and older will need a spectator ticket.

  • Additional tickets will NOT be available the day of the event. 


Warm Up Dance... Coming Soon!

At the beginning of the showcase, we will do a dance warm-up and stretch.

Just like in class, the goal of a warm-up is to get the blood flowing to all the parts of your body that you are going to use. This prepares the body for the muscle stretching and exertion required to complete our gymnastic skills. Since gymnastics uses the whole body, we need to warm up the whole body!

Your Guide to Understanding Our Showcases

Frequently Asked Questions at Gravity Gymnastics

  • How long are the showcases?

    Each show is scheduled to be one and a half hour in length. We'll open our doors 15 minutes before show begins. At the end of the show, you will have time to take pictures with our photo backdrops. 

  • What should my child wear?

    Your gymnast should come dressed in the showcase uniform. The uniform for our Surf's Up Showcase is coming soon.


    Leotards are available for purchase online in our parent portal at: "Gravity Pro-Shop"


    Please remove jewelry and tie up hair neatly away from the face. 

  • How much experience does my child need?

    Unsure if your child is ready for the show because of being new to the class or lacking a certain gymnastics skill?


    No need to worry! The idea behind the show is for our students to share with parents and family what they are learning during class. 


    Our coaches are there to assist with spotting and guidance.

  • Can I take photos?

    Absolutely!  Your are welcomed to take photos with no flash during the show. For safety reasons we kindly ask that you stay in the seating area during the show. 


    There will be time at the end of the show to take photos on the floor and in the designated photo "booth" area. Get those cameras and catch your gymnast in action!
